Riley Phillipson

Analyst

Riley joined Reddick Wellington in January 2022, and is involved in every aspect of the investment & due diligence process. He conducts modelling, evaluates potential investments, provides recommendations, and monitors portfolio performance.

Prior to joining Reddick Wellington, Riley worked in the investment dealer arm of Portland Holdings, a private investment firm, where he conducted equity research and analysis on public and private investments. He was also responsible for providing strategic oversight for the firm’s hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real estate investments.

Riley graduated with distinction from the Ivey Business School at Western University with an Honours in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designations.

Connor Campbell

Associate

Connor is a strategic finance professional with a passion for helping businesses grow, and has played a key role at Reddick Wellington since joining in January of 2020. Connor is involved in every step of the investment lifecycle: deal origination, modelling, and structuring, as well as monitoring and executing on the investment strategy.

Prior to joining Reddick Wellington, Connor worked as an Analyst at Quadrivium Advisors, a Toronto-based firm specializing in mergers & acquisitions, and JPOM Canada, an independent consultancy with a focus on the aerospace & defence sector. 

Connor has a Master’s degree in Finance from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Robert Heitner

Vice-President, Strategy and Corporate Development

Robert draws on a network of resources across North America to develop and implement business strategies for both The Heitner Group and Reddick Wellington. He also takes a leadership role in business development and works with other team members to analyze, structure and monitor investments. His attention to detail and keen eye for opportunities make him an ideal strategic partner – for investors and for mid-market companies looking to take their performance to the next level.  

Robert is a graduate of Beth Midrash Govoha  in New Jersey, as well as Mir Talmudic Institute in Jerusalem. 

Djenane Cameron

Chief Investment Officer
Djenane brings over 20 years of experience to her role as Chief Investment Officer. She is responsible for building relationships, oversight, and guiding investment decisions across a large, diverse portfolio comprised of real estate, private debt, public market equities and private equity.
Prior to joining Reddick Wellington, Djenane held a number of positions in asset management and private equity including Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Lynx Equity Investments from 2009 to 2019, Managing Director of JovFunds Inc (the asset management arm of Jovian Capital Corp.) from 2004 to 2008, Vice President of EdgeStone Capital Partners from 2001 to 2002 and Manager of Working Ventures Labour Sponsored Fund from 1997 to 2001.

During her career, Djenane has sat on numerous boards and investment committees. She currently sits on the board of EverGen Infrastructure Corp. and is Chief of Credit and Investments of Peakhill Capital, a commercial mortgage and mezzanine debt lender.

Djenane holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Ivey Business School at Western University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University.

Shaya Spitzer

Director of Finance

Shaya joined Reddick Wellington in 2021. He is responsible for all internal financial reporting and provides financial monitoring and analysis to facilitate investment decision making. Included in his role, Shaya maintains the company’s asset management software, and provides high level oversight over the entire portfolio. Additionally, Shaya liaises with our external accountants and lawyers to ensure all tax and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Reddick Wellington, Shaya was the Controller at Modern Niagara Group Inc, where he oversaw all day-to-day finance and accounting activities for the company’s Toronto and Southwestern Ontario offices. Shaya was part of the team that developed an internal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution and delivered training courses to ensure its successful adoption.

Shaya is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland with a degree in Business Management and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA).

Bernard Heitner

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Bernard is the founder and CEO of The Heitner Group and Reddick Wellington where he leads a team of experts focused on delivering innovative new solutions in asset management, real estate investments and private equity.

Prior to this, Bernard was a business leader and entrepreneur for over 35 years. In 1992, he started Cambridge Global Investments, an operation he grew into the largest private foreign exchange house in North America with offices in Canada, the U.S., South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2017, he sold the company for $900 million.
Today, Bernard enjoys working with visionary investors and business leaders who share his passion for building successful partnerships. He is also committed to giving back to the community – through mentoring programs and the efforts of The Heitner Charitable Foundation.

Bernard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia (UNSWA) . He is a CPA certified by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario  and was also certified as a CA in the UK and Australia.
